Austin Language Learning School (ALLS) offers a Non-Academic Korean & Culture Program.
The Non-Academic Korean & Culture Program is customized to move students through the scope and sequence of skills and content at a moderate pace in class while they participate in activities, and assessments that will help them achieve their individual goals.
The Non-Academic Korean Language and Culture program consists of six levels : Low Beginning, High Beginning, Low Intermediate, High Intermediate, Low Advanced, and High Advanced.
*All levels are available to students every session, as long as there is a minimum of 3 students per class. Every level takes approximately 12 weeks to complete. The Korean and Culture classes meet twice a week for 2 hours.
Placement test & Levels of proficiency
Students will take placement test to determine their appropriate class level. If there is any uncertainty, the language program director will discuss options with teachers.
Placement tests will include grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
The Korean Language and Culture Program consists of three levels: Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each level is into two sub-levels. (6 levels total)
